Happy belated New Year! (scanlation-y goodness!)

So I finally finished scanlating the one nice-sized sample I have. I may do the other, scattered pages that I have at some point, but this is the only continuous sample I have that's more than one page.

So! If you see anything that looks awkward, let me know. I'm an English-speaker first, not an Italian. :) Several times, I substituted the book's phrase instead of directly translating the Italian version. Otherwise, I tried to keep the feel.

You have no idea how excited I was to see this! Really, you've made my week. I've been thinking for a while how I could get my hands on this manga! I don't know any Italian, but I'm a native English speaker and about intermediate in Japanese, so if you need any help at all, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand!

Excellent! It makes me squee so much too. Like, I've read this one little sample about five BILLION times. It's so sad. XDXD And I'm rereading the book too, of course. Haha. *obsess*

Anyway. If you ever head over to Japan, or you happen to find the original Japanese version of the manga for cheap...y'know. XD That would be shiny for you, since you know Japanese. >D

So. I've got it!
Do you remember me? :D Perhaps I had a different username when we talked? But I was going to get the Italian volumes to scanlate with you (and maybe get my friend to help). So! I got vol. 1 in the mail today (FINALLY)!! If you're ready-- I can scan it ASAP, like tomorrow or the day after. If you don't have time right now, I'll be lazy & hold off. But anyway, YEAY so happy :D

omg of course I remember you!! I was just thinking about you the other day! :D (When I was starting my Italian class this semester, hehe.)

Anyway, I'd love to still help! And whatever you want to do is fine; scan things whenever it's convenient! This semester is definitely writing-intensive for me, so I probably wouldn't have time to do more than a couple pages a week...obviously I'd love to go through and do them all as quickly as I can but for the sake of my own sanity like I said I'll keep to a schedule of a few pages (up to 10 depending on the difficulty and amount of words?) a week. Is that okay?

Well, chapter 1 has 47 pages, so let's work with that number. We can release it in two parts to make it easier-- so, 23+24, say. Let's set a goal of 2 months from now, 3 pages a week at a minimum, more if you want (per week), and if we finish earlier than we do. I'll scan 10 pages tomorrow, which would mean you'd have until next Monday to do 3-10 pages. Each time, I'll scan 10 pages at a time, and your minimum would be 3 with a maximum of 10. How's that?

Once we're done with the first batch of 23, we'll post it (YEAY, this is the fun part), at the comm and at shoujo_daily and make a page for it at baka-updates manga. I may also make a website, etc. We'll also need a group name by then but not for a bit, hehehehe :D :D I'm excited!

Tell me if that's ok with you :D

Hi! Just thought I'd check up on you, see what the progress is, inquire as to the prospective due date, etc. Um. ^^;; I know you're busy, so if I sent you too much or the schedule we worked out turned out to be unworkable and needs to be reconfigured, just tell me. Well, tell me if you can't make it when the weekly due date comes, too. :> It makes nervous otherwise :>

omg I'm so sorry I could swear that I left you a comment to the effect that I would send it to you this (Feb 8-10) weekend!! Weirdness.

As far as future schedules I think every two weeks seems more realistic. @_@ I didn't think my classes would be this ridiculous. But, only a few more months of two writing-intensive classes at once, hah! >.>
